Moving along on all the Valdez sessions- only a few more to get out! Thank you to all my clients for your patience this past month. There just hasn’t been enough time with buying a house, moving, work trips, kids out on summer break.. I even postponed our vacation this year due to it all. But I see the end in sight and I promise I’m working as fast as possible.

Mr. Beguhl needs a bigger presence on this page. He really is the backbone of my business and my biggest supporter. Feeling pretty emotional today and I’m so thankful for him having my back when I need it the most.

For those wondering why were moving back to Fairbanks after only a year?
~ my husband works a really great weekly rotational schedule that allows us to live either here or there. Thankfully Fairbanks is only 2 hours away!
~ The biggest reason is my kids. We drive 4 hours on average a week for my sons hockey and there’s not much that my elementary girls are interested in here, sports or activity wise. We are in the car way too much and my girls miss their old school / friends / gymnastics.
~ we will still be glamping out here during most of the summertime because it’s BEAUTIFUL and that’s the part we love most about Ft Greely!
~ Luckily we were smart and decided to not buy a house when we moved to the delta area, but chose to live on the army base for a year to see if we liked living here. I will say the people are SO KIND and we’ve had a beautiful experience here but we are ready to be back!

We all sat on the sofa watching our family film and looking through our gallery on the big screen the other night. I had already seen them all so I sat watching everyone else’s reactions.
Some had happy tears, and even my oldest who was trying so hard not to, was smiling from ear to ear.
I sat thinking about how we will look through these again in the future when they’re adults and laugh about the memories.
And one day when Kurtis and I are gone, maybe they’ll look through these photos together, with children/grandchildren of their own, and reminisce about their childhood. I wish I could be a fly on the wall for that conversation. I hope they know how truly magical they are and how much we loved them. Photo cred @stormysolis
